Moral Monday
By: Steve Trubilla
Moral Monday, It may be on a Monday, but moral? Webster defines moral as, “of or relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior, well by some Democrat’s that sit in high places namely William Barber, President of the NC State Conference of the NAACP, and Congressman David Price seem to think it is right to have people that do not have jobs to openly disobey the law and then suffer the fines and convictions. But then again this does not surprise me. The “I did not get mine” crowd is all about if you will not give it to me I will just take it. It’s not my fault it is someone else’s.
Funny how the wealthy Democrats, you know the ones with PHD’s and luxury cars, and their $1000.00 tailor made suits feel the law is for poor folk. Yea, you should be outraged, those Republicans are keeping you down and they are not paying their share of taxes. They beat their drum for the cameras then have their high powered lawyers take care of fines that mean nothing to them.
Then those than cannot afford to pay their rent or buy their kids cloths get buried in the court system. Things like 11-20 million people invading our country, diplomats being sacrificed, the IRS targeting citizens, and the General Services Administration partying on you dime; they say we don’t know anything about that, but I will look into and we will hold those responsible accountable, “you have my word on it! They say the buck stops here; well it passed you and me
Aren’t you just tired of it all? The anointed one takes million dollar vacations, Nancy Pelosi makes million dollar land deals, and how did Harry Reid get that ten million. Can you spell “China?”
Everyone knows these names. They have used the lame street media well pushing their snake oil. On the local scene the Reverend Doctor William Barber is most known, in part do the failed one term Governor Beverly Purdue, and her cheapening of the Long Leaf Pine Award.
I will credit the so called Party of diversity and their well-oiled money machine. Pitting one group against another does enrage people out of work and just looking for their piece of the American dream. Maybe it would serve of all if we just forgot their names and remembered the names of those that did more than stirred everyone up. You know, that blue collar working man that quietly goes about “getting it done”. He is not looking for a handout, just to keep most of what he earns.
If you need an example of the kind of person I am talking about here is another William Barber you probably never heard of. Colonel William E. Barber. He was a US Marine Medal of Honor winner at the frozen Chosin Reservoir, most never heard of him or the Chosin Reservoir.
You want to talk about a man that stood tall. He fought in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Get on the internet and look him up. Then ask yourself why you never heard of the true American patriot hero.
